Multnomah County Democrats Health Care Work Group

The Mult. Dem Health Care Work Group will meet January 2, 2007 Tuesday at 7:00pm at the Donkey Stables. Our primary goal will be support for an affordable health care plan for all. We are presently studying the proposal by Interim Senate Committee on Health Care Access and Affordability; and Kitzhaber's Legislative Concept, Second Draft | Archimedes Movement on a State level. Nationally, we are looking at Conyers HR676 "Expanded & Improved Medicare For AllÃ¢â‚¬Â and Ted Kennedy's proposal. We meet the fourth Tuesday of the month. Come and join us. Health Care Work Group Committee

Health Care Work Group Committee Meeting

The Multnomah County Dems Health Care Work Group Committee will meet twice in September. The September 13th meeting will be a review of the supported resolutions during the legislative session - where we had success and where we need to work harder. The September 27th meeting will be to decide what health care issues should be incorcopated into the party platform. The October 25th meeting will be to finalize the health care issues selected.
