Thanks for help and willing to create

Many thanks to Moses for his help (several times) and others in navigating the procedures and options as I became a new district leader. I am starting a "new district leader how to do it" document and, possibly, one for pcps. Anyone that wants to review and suggest changes should either respond or send me an email. I will definitely request a review by anyone that is mentioned in an official capacity. Hint: I have a thick skin. A "that is stupid" comment is welcome so long as the reason why is also included. If, by chance, there already is such a document, please point me to it so I can review and, perhaps, modify it. mads ledet

Reply on docs for DLs and PCPs

It'd probably be good for us to gather together all the current docs and see where we need to improve and update. I know that we had a lot of docs that covered some of this area. I have the 2004 versions, but I have the feeling that many of them have changed since then. Once we get them completed, we can put them on the site like we did previously. The docs, just like last time, would be protected so that only those with sufficient permission can access them.

I think I have those documents. What I am thinking of is a "how to do it" list that only has meaning after you become a dl or pcp. Like, how to get "registered" and appear on the lists - maybe there could be a form that is sent to someone to verify and that person sends it to the appropriate people. How does everyone know there was an election and I was elected - would some type of form cover that plus be routed to get everything set up. I think people who just went through the process are good people to work on something like that which is why I proposed it.
