Summertime, and the Bussin' is easy...

How is the Bus bucking the dog days of August this year? Funny you should ask. Turns out, we're throwing the most epic summer-themed Bus Trip of all time to help cool you down. Toss in sunscreen, water balloons and some hot democracizing and you've got a trip to remember forever. Forever.

Like our unending summer, this democracy keeps on rollin' and could always use more love. So ride the heat wave (ha!) on over to Bus Trip: Endless Summer

It all goes down this Saturday, August 28th. We're heading out to beautiful Sandy (which sounds like a beach) to walk for Brent Barton for State Senate & Suzanne VanOrman for State House (a pair of independent-minded candidates who love summer almost as much as they love grassroots).

-Meet 10 a.m. at Grant High School; 2245 NE 36th Ave/Thompson
-Kickoff headlined by Congressman Earl Blumenauer
-Heading to Sandy to walk for Suzanne VanOrman and Brent Barton
-Free brunch, lunch, prizes, water balloon fight and slip & slide action for all that attend
-Back in Portland in the 5 o'clock hour
